Leeds Bradford Airport supports LEP skills campaign

Leeds Bradford Airport today announced it has joined the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership's (LEP) five three one campaign to increase investment in skills.

Led by LEP Board Chair Neil McLean, employers are being invited to sign up to the campaign to help boost employment in the City Region.

In addition to Leeds Bradford International Airport, over 30 businesses have already pledged their support. The LEP has set a target of getting 1,000 businesses to join by the end of March 2013.

John Parkin, Leeds Bradford Airport’s Chief Executive, said:

“We are delighted to support the five three one campaign and are committed to investing in the future of the Leeds City Region and developing the skills of its workforce.

"The campaign is about investing more in people, increasing productivity and ultimately helping our business grow. Companies can commit to one or more actions that suit their needs and the Partnership alongside an array of partners will help them achieve these goals.”
