On 11 September 2012, Leeds City Region and Bradford University will host Base Leeds City Region - an event dedicated to the development of a low carbon built environment and infrastructure. Leeds City Region businesses can attend this exclusive event for free.
The Leeds City Region Partnership will be involved in a number of sessions throughout the day, promoting opportunities to support low carbon businesses:
Growing Places Fund Round 2 launch
Neil McLean, Chair of the Leeds City Region LEP Board, will host a breakfast briefing to launch this £26m fund, which provides loans of between £250,000 and £5 million. Join us to find out how it could help deliver your low carbon projects. Neil will be joined by Joanne Pollard, Leeds City Region Green Economy Panel Member; Ben Rimmington, Director of the Leeds City Region LEP; and a specialist funding team from the Leeds City Region Secretariat.
Keynote conferences speeches
Keynote speeches include Neil McLean, LEP Board Chair, on the opportunities for business in a low carbon Leeds City Region, and Ben Rimmington, LEP Director, on the future of low carbon funding.
