Conference forges skills partnerships for growth
Over 100 delegates met today at Bradford College to celebrate the fourth annual Leeds City Region Skills Network conference and champion partnership working across the region.
LEP Chair, Roger Marsh delivered the keynote speech, underlining how the LEP works with local and national partners to unlock the potential of the region and accelerate economic growth.
Roger stressed the importance of FE, HE and schools in helping the region achieve its growth potential and emphasised the LEP’s commitment to supporting young people onto a prosperous career ladder.
He said: “We have an ambitious plan to ensure we equip our young people with the skills and experience they need for a successful future but we also have a responsibility to support employees to up skill their staff.
