The Leeds City Region Partnership has a powerful ambition to develop a world class low-carbon built environment and infrastructure that will underpin the competitiveness of its £50bn economy.

With the support of the city region's leaders Base Leeds City Region will bring together decision-makers from the public and private sector to take forward low-carbon business opportunities.

The conference programme has been carefully crafted drawing upon the expertise of the Base Leeds City Region's Advisory Board, which includes the chair of the LEP Green Economy Panel, the chief executives of both Bradford and Leeds City Councils and senior figures from businesses including IBM, First, GE and Carillion.

The line-up of speakers reflects the unique priorities of the city region - in retrofitting homes, energy efficient public buildings, sustainable energy, waste and water management solutions and low-carbon transport.
