Exporting champions to share tricks of the trade
To kick off this November’s Export Week, the LEP is hosting a Twitter conversation to enable businesses interested in exporting to China to pose their questions to a panel of experts.
The China market continues to grow at an unprecedented rate and, whilst many businesses are aware of the huge export potential, they are often uncertain about entering the market without knowing all the facts or having access to the right resources.
An expert panel - including Eric Hawthorn, MD at Radio Design, Richard Smith, Managing Director at Surfachem Ltd and representatives from UKTI, Chamber International and the China British Business Council – will be on hand to answer questions, share their insights into the China market and discuss what exporting support is available.
The TwitChat will take place on 9 November, 10 – 11am and businesses can pose their questions to our experts live. Alternatively, you can submit questions in advance of the TwitChat to the LEP’s Twitter account @LeedsCityRegion using the hashtag #AskExporters.
Trading internationally can have many benefits: companies are more innovative, are more likely to expand their workforce and have a better cash flow situation than those that don’t – and it's easier than you might think to trade globally, with wide range of support available from the LEP and our partners.
