The LEP is inviting West Yorkshire business owners to share how they access information, guidance and support online

We have launched an online survey to learn what information businesses would find most useful, practical and valuable to their business to help improve its web-based business support services.
The business support landscape is challenging to navigate, and many are unaware of the vast amount of local support available. Working In partnership with the Mayor of West Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Combined Authority, the LEP plans to increase awareness of the support available through its Business Support Service and make it easier to access and understand.
The LEP connects the region's small and medium-sized businesses to local and national funding and support initiatives such as support and funding for innovation and development projects, grants to hire an apprentice, support to adopt greener business models and help to grow internationally. Since 2015, we have supported over 15,000 businesses to overcome challenges, grow and explore new opportunities and invested more than £66 million in over 6,600 projects.
We want to know where business owners across West Yorkshire look for business support and the type of information and resources they would like to see online. To have your say, please complete the five-minute survey at yourvoice.westyorks-ca.gov.uk/business-support by midnight on Tuesday 4 January 2022.
Insights from the survey will inform improvements in the structure, navigation and content about business support initiatives online. It will also inform strategy to create a more coherent and coordinated approach to promoting business support.
