Businesses will be supported to consider how they can adapt their marketing strategies and experts will share best practice for internationalising their website. They will also explore how they can use a range of digital marketing and business development tools to attract and engage new customers from international markets.
Roger Marsh OBE DL, Chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and NP11 said: “The UK is signing trade deals with many of the countries that are set to become some of the world’s largest economies in the coming decades.
“As a LEP, we’re doing all we can to help businesses make the most of new opportunities that present themselves within the EU and in other, rapidly growing parts of the world.
“I’d encourage all businesses to book onto this webinar series to learn how they can adapt their marketing strategies to achieve international growth and contribute to an inclusive, resilient economic recovery.”
Nicki Clark, Chief Executive of UMi, said: “As the UK continues to create new global trading relationships, one thing we know for sure is that there is a world of opportunity for UK businesses. One of the biggest challenges and obstacles is being present and getting yourself heard, particularly in light of international travel restrictions at present – digital has an increasingly important role to play.”
“We need to take greater account of foreign languages, adapt our approach to suit different cultures, make our web strategy more attractive to a global audience, and modify our products and services to suit the needs of our international customers.”
“These webinars we will make it easier for businesses to grow their sales, reputation and customers in export markets. We want to take the hard work out for business leaders by showing them the strategies and tools that will empower them to take action today to increase the success of their business in the months and years ahead.”
