It was International Women’s Day this week so what better way to celebrate than to showcase two of West Yorkshire’s talented businesswomen.
Investment results in award nomination for Leeds based ITC services business, Claritas Solutions Ltd.
Leeds based, Claritas Solutions Ltd, a provider of Information Technology (IT) services is one of three Strategic Business Growth funding recipients who were shortlisted for the ‘Top Inspired Spaces in the North 2018’. The fit-out of the businesses new offices were part-funded through support from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
The company provides a range of IT services including connectivity, hosting, security, application development, project management and technical support. It employs 47 members of staff, has a turnover of £4.2 million and has recently won a large public sector contract.
Claritas Solutions Ltd originally contacted the LEP as it needed investment in relocating to newly purchased offices which enabled it to apply for Police Assured Secure Facility’ (PASF) status.
Since benefiting from investment in its new office space, Claritas Solutions Ltd also requested support in developing its sales and marketing strategy in which the LEP could assist with, resulting in:
Kirsty Sutton, Financial Director at Claritas Solutions said:
“When we first contacted the LEP, we weren’t aware of the wide range of support available. We were pleasantly surprised to find we could access not only funding but also support with developing our sales and marketing strategy.”
“As a result of both the financial and advisory support, we’ve created 8.4 new full-time roles and our turnover should increase to £9 million this financial year.”
This faster-than-predicted growth has meant that Claritas Solutions Ltd is considering having a further set of new premises to enable the staff numbers to increase further this next year.
